Well, in the following we tend to introduce ourselves as Iraq’s most
qualified bitumen and oil refinery and exporter. In other words, Iraq’s
bitumen export to surge as Wataniya Bitumen starts production at Poerner designed plant. It’s also important to know that Bitumart and AMEA
Bitumen Sponsor for the export of bitumen from their 500,000 Pörner MTPA plant.
Moreover, one project by the Pörner Group, Wataniya Bitumen and
Oil Refinery is designed and licensed and a Biturox® – Bitumen Blowing Unit
is built by Pörner to manufacture pavement and industry grades of
bitumen near the Samawa Refinery in Iraq.
Our reputation and certificates
Generally speaking , the plant was installed as a grassroots plant
for the production of premium bitumen products of different road paving and
industrial bitumen levels. For various types of Bitumen, such as 20/30,
40/50, 50/70, 60/70, 80/100, BS/EN and international standards the
design capacities of the BBU are 500,000 MTPA. Moreover, the Cut-Back
Bitumen unit, with a capacity of 300 MTPD for providing the infrastructure of
the road to penetrate more effectively, by blending Kerosene and
Bitumen 80/100 as feed materials.
